Born in Avignon, Juliette Chauvet studied in Lyon, Paris and Berlin bevor she passed her Bachelor of Art at the Vienna Music and Art Private University. She was artist in residence at the "Centre de Perfectionnement Plácido Domingo" at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia and at the "Pôle lyrique d'excellence" in Lyon. Joining the prestigious Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara in 2022, she was assigned the role of Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, her first appearance with The Granada Theatre Santa Barbara and concurrently her US-debut. On stage she has, among others, appeared in the roles of Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) and Elle (La voix humaine). Her opera-repertory also includes roles such as Susanna and Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Agathe (Der Freischütz), Marguerite (Faust), Micaëla (Carmen) and Rusalka (Rusalka). In 2023, Juliette Chauvet was one of the 6 sopranos selected to take part in the prestigious Merola Opera Program in San Francisco. In addition to her mother-tongue French, she also speaks fluently English, German, Italian and Spanish.

Having been born in 1996 in Avignon Juliette Chauvet is presently living in Munich.
She passed her Bachelor of Art with distinction at the Vienna Music and Art Private University in 2021, having previously studied at the Conservatoire d'Avignon, at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional (CRR) in Lyon, at the CRR in Paris (Maîtrise de Paris) and at the Berlin Musikhochschule Charlottenburg.
She was artist in residence at the "Centre de Perfectionnement Plácido Domingo" at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia (season 2018/19) and at the "Pôle lyrique d'excellence" in Lyon under the direction of Cécile de Boever (season 2022/23).
In 2021, she was winner of the category „German repertory” within the „Anonymous Audition project” in New York (the worldwide one and only exclusively acoustic vocal competition for opera-singers!). Joining the prestigious Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara in 2022, she was assigned the role of Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, her first appearance with The Granada Theatre Santa Barbara and concurrently her US-debut.
On stage she has also appeared in performances of Rigoletto (under Roberto Abbado's baton), Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) at the Teatro Martin i Soler of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, La voix humaine (Elle) at the MUK Theatre in Vienna as well as in Der Vogelhändler with the Langenlois Festival (Austria). Her opera-repertory also includes roles such as Susanna and Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Agathe (Der Freischütz), Marguerite (Faust), Micaëla (Carmen) and Rusalka (Rusalka).
In 2023, Juliette Chauvet was one of the 6 sopranos selected to take part in the prestigious Merola Opera Program (San Francisco).
Being highly devoted to the repertory of song and French melodies, Juliette Chauvet already performed in recital at the Palau de les Arts Sala Magistral and the Institute of Modern Art IVAM (both in Valencia), at the San Severino Monastery in Salerno, at the Centre of Arts (Elma) in Israel, within the Hidalgo Festival in Munich as well as at the French Embassy and the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna.
Juliette Chauvet expresses her most cordial thanks to the Gstaad Menuhin Vocal Academy (2016-2019), the Vienna-Tel Aviv Vocal Connection (2016-2018) and the SGEM Vienna Art Conference (2017) for their generous support.
In addition to her mother-tongue French, Juliette Chauvet also speaks fluently English, German, Italian and Spanish. She is married to German composer Aaron Chauvet-Kümpfel.
