After having been a guest-conductor at the Hamburg State Opera (new-production of Cosi fan tutte) and at the Aalto Theater in Essen (new-production of Carmen), Sébastien Rouland is back home at the Saarländische Staatstheater for a newproduction of Cherubini’s Médée.
„He hits the mark well both what concerns the atmosphere and the fieriness of Georges Bizet’s music” commented Ulrike Gondorf in her review for Deutschlandfunk after having attended a Carmen-performance in Essen.
