Elsa Dreisig’s season was - to say the least - well-stocked!
First Prize and Audience's Prize at the „New Voices" Competition of the Bertelsmann Foundation, "Prix du jeune soliste 2015 des Radios Francophones Publiques" (Young Soloist' Award of the French speaking public radio-companies 2015) and "Vocal Discovery" of the prestigious Victoires de la Musique Classique 2016. Elsa Dreisig, however, had a quick kick-off at the Berlin State Opera too: two major role debuts as Pamina and Euridice highlighted her first Berlin season which was completed by some nice concerts and an appearance with Daniel Barenboim at the piano performing Schubert’s Der Tod und das Mädchen in a concert matinee. Not to forget her first stage appearance in France as irresistible Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia with the Centre lyrique d’Auvergne and on tour.
Elsa Dreisig will be back to France this summer, performing two challenging and exciting programs at the Berlioz Festival and on tour with the Orchestre français des jeunes conducted by David Zinman playing Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.
