Marie-Claude Chappuis finished last season with her debut at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala in a beautiful new-production of Franz Schubert’s masterly opera Fierrabras (never ever performed in Milan before; Daniel Harding conducting, Peter Stein staging). The new season starts for the internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano from Switzerland with a new-production of Rossini’s Guillaume Tell (Hedwige) at the Theater an der Wien. Opening-night on October 13, 2018.
