Can it possibly be that Eva Mei, called "Mozartist with the heartbeat" by a reviewer, transforms herself to a Donna furiosa, to a dangerous schemer in a power game in the ancient Rome?
"Contrasts are half the life" and "to learn from one for the other" are principles that surely hold true also for the Italian Diva. This is how the artist presents herself as Vitellia in "La Clemenza di Tito" by Mozart at the Teatro Verdi in Triest from 13 April 2013 on. Under the staging by Jean-Louis Grinda and the musical direction by Gianluigi Gelmetti, she will also sing the performances on 17, 20, 24 and 27 April. Her partners on stage will be Giuseppe Filianoti in the role of Tito and Laura Poverelli as Sesto. These performances at the venerable Teatro Verdi can be awaited with excitement.
