Peter Sonn gives a guest performance in Istanbul in the role of Narraboth in Salome by Richard Strauss. He has already sung this role at the Zurich Opera.

On 28 of March 2013, Borsuan Music and Arts dedicates the concert version of the opera by Richard Strauss to the commemoration of the legendary Turkish Belcanto diva Leyla Gencer. The following international all-star cast will sing under the baton of Sascha Götzel : Nadja Michael in the title role, Thomas Moser and Larissa Diadkova as reigning couple and Morten Frank Larsen as Jochanaan. Even apart from the role of Narraboth, Peter Sonn is renowned as specialist for music by Richard Strauss. His repertoire also comprises the Italian singer in Der Rosenkavalier, the young man in Die Frau ohne Schatten and particularly Henry Morosus in Die schweigsame Frau.
