Last season's scenic representations of the opera "Talestri - Regina delle Amazzoni" by the composer Maria Antonia Walpurgis in Vienna were celebrated as a veritable discovery. Reason enough for the Kosmostheater to show this successful production again on 11, 12, 15, 16, 18 and 20 October 2013.  

Elisabeth Attl, the musical director of the production is once more the incitement and coordinator of this unusual opera evening at an unusual place. She has dedicated herself to rediscoveries and special projects in different styles with an overwhelming energy and is renowned and acclaimed by the press and public for her path aside the habitual repertoire.   Heidi Brunner will again interpret the dramatic role of the motherly priest Tomiri. She, too, is an advocate of dramatic truthfulness on the grand opera stage and in the contect of unusual artistic defiance. The title role is once more sung by the Austrian mezzo-soprano Anna Manske. "Women's power without Happy End" was the reaction of the journal "Wiener Zeitung". An artistically successful evening in any case!
