We are glad to welcome Margot Genet to our artists’ roster. Born in Limoges (France) in 1994 the soprano took vocal- and violoncello-lessons in her home-town before pursuing her studies at the Geneva Haute Ecole de Musique and at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Her first roles on stage were Drusilla in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and Elle in La Voix humaine. In 2019/20 she performed the roles of The Fire, The Princess and The Nightingale in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges at the Opéra de Lyon. Next season she will be back to the Opera Studio of the Opéra de Lyon, taking part in a staged production of Dukas Ariane et Barbe-Bleue (role of Ygraine) as well as in an Offenbach-gala-concert. Concurrently she will also join the Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky.
